I can't believe no one wants my money.
So i took my car in to the volvo shop, said here's $750 make it pass emissions, it only has 275k is should pass easiylu and they said alright. no problem on the phone. then i get it in to the shop, and they say stuff like we don't really know anything about carbs, but we've got one guy who can fix it, no problem! you said $750 right? yeah, he can fix it no problem.
and then almost eight hours later i get a call, it's the guy, the majic one who is suposed to fix my car, he says i don't really want to, so come pick it up. oh and heres you bill, $22.
but we won't fill out the emissions paper work for you, cause that'll make us look bad.
if you couldn't fix my car, why didn't you say so?
so on the one hand i am thinking of fixing it myself, and on the other, i'm thinking of buying a honda, or an rx7 or something else.... partly because i need a car really soon (the plates expire on friday), and partly just to say to them hey look, i don't have a volvo anymore so i don't have to go to you any more...
