well we're traveling light gonna speed though the night
So i went shopping with mike and jason today.
well first we went out to eat at this french resutrant, i don't know if it was any good everything on the menu was in french, and i don't know any french, nor do jason or mike. so i ordered the thing on the menu i recogninzed, jambala, and it was bad. but at least it was was better than eggs.
and then we walked along the 16th street mall, looking for somewhere to buy mikes brother a birthday present. we didn't find anywhere. we wandred into the tattered cover, wow i would have liked to spend all day (and all my paycheck) there, loads of books. but nothing for his brother. then over to twist and shout, were i did manage to spend some of my money, on a couple of used cds +one new one. but it the twenty minuetes we were there (long enough by my standards, it was croweded, to many people for my tastes) i managed to find three cd's i wanted, and they manged to find nothing.
i mean is that possible? i know music has pretty much sucked this year, but still two guy's who are at least in passing my friends, musical friends, and they certainly seemed to have money(at least an hour before they did) and they didn't even find anything to look at?
but anyway. the weather is really getting to me. not only the storm, which still hasn't been cleaned up here in broomfield nor in denver. but the sun seting at 3:45 in the afternoon.
and the thing of it is, mike say it doesn't bother him in korea, but being back here for a week and it's already getting to him. well one year and six months i won't have to worry about it anymore, i'll get the job with the census dept, and have six months in so i can transfer somewhere else. i'm not sure where yet, but i'm pretty damm sure it won't be here. i'm thinking either the pacfic northwest, or somewhere outof the way, like nashville or atlanta.
oh and three days off from work, snowdays! i'm going to miss that. but again, it's driving me nuts being stuck here with my parnets, i haven't even been able to go to the gym... well there is always next year...
