i dream every morning, that i wake up next to you
the weather here is so depressing. and it's a faorly new phenominion, when i was a little kid growing up, the weather was warm, not all the time (the time when my grand fathers aftershave froze in their rv, and it was like sixty-five precent liquer) but it was usually sunny the next day after it snowed, not only sunny, but warm (there were exceptions to this, for instance the winter of 82-83? i'm not sure which, but it was the winter the liquer froze in the rv, -20 for two weeks straight, people still talk about it). i mean we had a day or two max to bulid a snow fort or a ramp, before it would start melting. and it snowed more too. i mean we usually got two or three snow days when we were growing up, and we never had to stay over, though there were a couple of years when we came close (if they call for to many snow days, you have to stay later on in the year, we had five in elementary school, less in high school) but now it's unusal for us to get one snow day, i remeber the first year i worked for dps, we got three days off, and the thing was, it was far from the worst storm of the year, at least in boulder. by the time i got up, it was clear, the roads were clear and the snow was hafway melted. the next day bernard called and said we had the week off, and i went for a drive up in the mountains, and got stuck, but it was better once i turned around (i miss the days when i would go for drives in the mountains, i suppose that ended when i had the benz and nearly flipped it connering to fast, i wonder how my lex would do conering? (I only wish i had enough time to go out driving...) but those three days they called, the students had to stay after for too of them. but back to the weather, it's wired, around here, some of the areas didn't get anything, and others got loads of snow, the street in frount of my house was covered in snow, from tuesday till they got around to plowing it tiwce yesterday. and they didn't even think of canceling school... if i would have called in sick because of the snow i would have been laughed out of the building when i retured... the thing is, it's not the weather so much thats getting me down, it's the fact that the sun now sets at about three thrity in the afternoon. yes i know about the yahoo thing that says it doesn't set till four thrity, but it's pretty dark outside at four, by four thirty there isn't a speck of light left... so now i'm thinking of moving south, for the winter at least, maybe mexico? to bad i can't become a citizen there. coasta rica maybe? rayn says he was thinking of buying a coffee plantaion down their for 25K, maybe i should do it? but then again it will be sunny in another three months, and things are sure to get better once i quit my job jannary 16th, so maybe free loading here for another sumestor or two? 'cause it's usually so nice here.... np: the Maybellines, oregon i will turn my watch back as i'm driveing towards the sun, i'll just spend the hours i saved for you in oregon
